CALGARY - ECONOMIST
Masters in economics or finance or related fields with an emphasis on the application and interpretation of research. Experience in conceptualizing and developing economic or business models using analytical methods is required. Excellent knowledge of economic/econometric methods is needed. Experience with analytical packages and/or programming languages (SAS, Eviews, SPSS, Visual Basic, etc.) and excellent knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Excel, Power Point, and Access is required. Background in statistics and bilingual capability are definite assets. The Economist is required to be a highly resourceful researcher with strong oral and written communication skills.
