St Augustine, Trinidad and Tobago. Qualifications & Experience : PhD, DBA or equivalent in a business or relevant field. Global business school leadership and/or senior executive experience in business/industry with strong record of achievement. Expertise : Building and leading a business school; a sound understanding of accreditation and academic quality; strong collaborative and stakeholder management abilities; an entrepreneurial focus and commercial experience; a strong focus on teaching and learning and quality assurance; a relevant research and publication record. Special Responsibilities : The School is a self sustaining, non-profit enterprise. The selected candidate will demonstrate the ability to lead and manage the operations of the business school along two broad lines of business : academic programmes and training, consulting and research. Personal Attributes : Ability to build a faculty and research competence which support the work of the school. Business school relationships; student centeredness; diplomatic skills; an understanding of globalisation and implications for the developing world; energy and drive; negotiation, collaborative and team building skills.
