CHICAGO - FINANCIAL PLANT CONTROLLER
Job Description : This position is an excellent opportunity to demonstrate fiscal responsibility over the plant operations. Reporting to the Plant Manager, the Plant Controller is charged with a variety of duties and responsibilities that will cause them to interact with all levels of the internal organization. Job Description: Principal Accountability:- Month end closing responsibilities - Cost management functions - Budget and forecast preparation and analysis - Internal control procedures - Capital project analysis - Maintenance of control procedures database - Tax reporting - Direct the activities of the accounting department staff - Organize and administer taking of physical inventory and reconciling inventory - Special projects and other duties as required. Skill Required : Requirements : - Bachelors degree in Accounting - at least 5 years of accounting in a manufacturing environment with US GAAP alongside management of a small accounting team. - Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and other Microsoft software - SAP and Hyperion system experience preferred - CPA preferred.
