Job Description : Reporting to the International Director of Supply Chain, you will be responsible for: Planning and tracking all facets of operation and keeping abreast of all changes or issues that may arise Supervising 6 direct reports and responsible for a total of 35 union and non-union personnel Developing and implementing investment and production improvement strategies Implementing change strategies to meet the ever-evolving requirements and needs of the organization Managing the facility’s budget and applying corrective measures when necessary Ensuring goods are in compliance with bill of lading Ensuring supplies of raw materials and packaged goods are in line with requests Maintaining optimal communication and coordination with the Departments of Purchasing, Planning, Finance, Distribution, Transportation, Warehousing, and Customer Service as well as external customers Implementing and managing Just In Time (JIT) methods when necessary Developing and managing performance metrics.
Skill Required : Bachelor’s Degree in Operations Management, Production, Administration or a similar discipline Minimum of 4 years experience in supply chain management or production management in a manufacturing environment, preferably in food manufacturing Hands-on approach to planning, production and personnel supervision Strong team-building, communication and coaching skills Strong and autonomous work ethic Ability to work under pressure and adhere to constant deadlines Proficiency in English and French.
